Ja’el Mahoney is a classically trained harpist based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. Growing up in a creative home, Ja’el has always been drawn to music. Starting with piano, fiddle, and ukulele, Ja’el found herself drawn to the harp in middle school. Her musical journey has been formed by the transformative power that music can have as a communal experience.

Music has the power to speak to the soul where language fails. Ja’el approaches the harp as a powerful tool of grace and understanding. With a deep conviction of the communal power of music, Ja’el has shared her skills in wedding ceremonies, art galleries, funerals, and various community events.
